4. Beadrez Menus

There are 4 sets of menus in Beadrez: the main+shaping menus that come up when Beadrez is touched, the twist menus that appear from the twistmenu command, the pose stand menus that come up when the owner sits on Beadrez or uses the posemenu command, and the teachpad menu that appears when preparing new bead types.

The teachpad (LinkEnhancer) menus were added in v5 to help position beads on the teachpad.

The main+shaping menus were added in version 3, and include:
  • MAIN: adjust width and size, hide/show the red guides and preview, dump parameter values to chat (e.g., for pasting to a notecard), or activate other menus.
  • CARDS: run a stored notecard (containing commands) by clicking on its name.
  • BEADS: pick the active bead type by clicking its name, and will then take you to the MORE menu that lets you add the active bead.
  • MORE: add the active bead to left, right, both, tip, or entire necklace shape, or clear any currently rezzed beads. Also lets you pick defaults, including bracelet and bellychain starting values, and lets you list a history of recent commands in chat.
  • SHAPING1: adjust several parameters for front shape.
  • SHAPING2: adjust parameters for back shape, and also a "soften" parameter that affects front shape but also interacts with back parameters.
Beadrez 4 added the following menus:
  • SHAPING3: adds menu control over bump and softtype parameters.
  • TWIST MENUS (3 menus): For real-time interactive control of bead twists after rezzing.
  • POSE STAND menus (4 menus): For adjusting seated avatar position and rotation, and saving/recalling up to 4 settings.
